kami ("the app") is a private, single-user personal assistant operated exclusively
by its owner on their own private server. It is not offered to any other users.
Google API scopes used and why
- gmail.modify — read, search and organize the owner's own Gmail
messages and drafts, in order to summarize the inbox and prepare draft replies
that the owner reviews manually. Automated outbound sending is disabled by the
app's local configuration.
- calendar.readonly — view the owner's own calendar events, in
order to produce day summaries and detect scheduling conflicts.
- drive.readonly — browse the owner's own Google Drive files on
request, in order to find and reference documents the owner asks about.
- drive.file — create and edit Google Docs/Sheets that the app
itself creates, confined to a dedicated folder, for notes and reports generated
for the owner.
How Google user data is handled
Google user data accessed through these scopes is processed only to carry out the
owner's own explicit requests, and is stored only on the owner's private server,
protected by full-disk and access controls. It is never sold, shared, disclosed, or
transmitted to any third party.
Data deletion and revocation
The owner may revoke the app's access at any time at
, which immediately stops all API access.
All data stored locally by the app can be permanently deleted by the owner at any
time, at their sole discretion.
